# ORGL 517 - Organizational Change & Transformation

This was one of the core electives for the [[Change Leadership]] concentration. After learning various theories of change management, we were introduced to several interventions through experiential learning. It became clear that the key to managing change effectively is to know your stakeholders and tailor communication and interventions to fit.

## Objectives & Competencies
The purpose of this course was to understand methods of organizational diagnosis and intervention. We were prepared as change agents to select and implement the right tools that support alignment of multiple stakeholders around new ways of doing things.
**Competencies I developed include:**
- An understanding of the various models for leading change
- An ability to develop strategies for systemic alignment with stakeholders
- A capacity to create a human-centric action plan for organizational change
- I developed an [[BSR Action Plan|action plan]]🧩 for improving nurse compliance in performing bedside shift report at the hospital where I work.
