The Quakers recognize importance of sharing personal experiences and knowledge. Not a step-by-step process of [[consensus decision making]], but it does have several underlying principles.
- Participants must be open-minded to the outcome
- Participants must approach the process without any preconceptions
- Group must be committed to determining best solution and avoiding compromise for the sake of efficiency
- Participants must actively participate in the process, both by speaking and listening ([note on p.8](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/FQ672TGH?page=8))
