# Simon's Normative Model

Simon's Normative Model is an alternative to [[rational decision making]] and considers the limited availability of time and information.
Process involves three phases:
1. Intelligence phase - Find, identify, and formulate the problem.
2. Design phase - Identify potential solutions through brainstorming.
3. Choice phase - Select an option and implement decision.
Assumptions:
- People don't have ability to process all information, even if it's available
