Unfreezing - current practices need to be released 2. Moving - change in practice 3. Refreezing - adopt and maintain new practices Forces promoting change and forces promoting status quo (resisting change) work together to maintain [[homeostasis]]. Change only occurs when forces of change are greater than forces maintaining status quo.
