Coming to the end of the ORGL program is bittersweet. I will miss the camaraderie and the intentional engagement in learning and dialogue. The benefit of having some of my time back is that I can revisit some of the course material and reflect more deeply. There are also additional materials I've collected through the courses that I'd like to explore once I have the time.
In a more practical sense, it's time for me to take what I've learned and find a career that enables me to put my strengths and skillsets to better use in helping lead teams and organizations. I'm not sure what the job title will be - there are many possibilities - but I am eager to continue growing as a [[change agent]]. I am currently going through [[Michael Bungay Stanier]]'s [How to Begin Course](https://mbs.works/how-to-begin-book-course) to craft a [[Worthy Goal]] and start the work of my next career transition.
## Further Education
I'm a student by nature, so I'll never stop seeking further education. Here are some of my next plans:
- I'm currently enrolled in the [Google Project Management Professional Certificate](https://www.coursera.org/professional-certificates/google-project-management) through Coursera and once I finish I intend to be certified as a [Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)](https://www.pmi.org/certifications/certified-associate-capm)
- Many of the kinds of jobs I'm interested in ask for additional certifications, so I'm contemplating a certification as a [Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)](https://acmpglobal.org/page/ccmp)
- I love coaching leaders and would really like to become a certified coach. The program I am really excited about is an Organizational Coaching certification program through the [University of British Columbia Extended Learning](https://extendedlearning.ubc.ca/programs/organizational-coaching-certificate)
- My experience at Gonzaga was so amazing that I think I might like to come back someday for the [Doctoral Program in Leadership Studies](https://gonzaga.edu/school-of-leadership-studies/degrees-programs/ph-d-leadership-studies)
## Staying connected to Gonzaga
I really want to stay connected to the Gonzaga School of Leadership and to the other students who have been through the ORGL program. It would be too easy to go back to my regular life and lose that connection, so I've already started finding ways to incorporate these connections into my life.
- I have a monthly Zoom call with four other ORGL alums. We're a mastermind group that meets to support one another and continue learning together.
- I connected with another Gonzaga alum (not ORGL) through the Gonzaga Leadership Studies Book Club. We've made a point to meet via Zoom periodically, and I'm hoping to continue participating in the book club to meet others like her.
- Chris Crosby has been wonderful about inviting several of us back to speak and answer questions during his [[ORGL 517]] immersion. I would love to have the same opportunity with other courses.
