The many individual and collective decisions made within and between organizations *([note on p.7](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/76RIFAIE?page=7))*
Organizational ethics may look different depending on what ethical perspective is applied.
- From the duty perspective, organizational ethics might involve creating universal [[moral principles|principles]] that every individual is obligated to follow out of sense of duty or responsibility, whether it's in their own self-interest or not.
- From rights perspective, organizational ethics might emphasize laws and policies that create equity and fairness to preserve human rights *([note on p.16](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/76RIFAIE?page=16))*
- From the utility perspective, organizational ethics would require moving beyond traditional cost-benefit analysis to consider which decisions benefit the greatest number with the greatest good. *([note on p.17](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/76RIFAIE?page=17))*
- From virtue perspective, organizational ethics would focus on improving the organization's culture to maximize human potential. *([note on p.18](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/76RIFAIE?page=18))*
- From a relationship perspective, organizational ethics would focus on relationships within and outside of the organization, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, participation and collaboration. *([note on p.19](zotero://open-pdf/library/items/76RIFAIE?page=19))*
