This draws from [[Parker Palmer]]'s idea that truth is the process of [[inquiry]] and [[dialogue]], not the outcome of it (Palmer, 2017, p. 106). Palmer argues finding truth is a never-ending process of learning through complex conversations. The truth of any matter is not finite, because it does not lie in the conclusions we reach about some object. Palmer's definition of truth lies in the dynamic relationships and conversations of a [[community of truth]] that "keeps testing old conclusions and coming into new ones" (p. 106). The only way for us to stay in the truth is to commit to participating in the conversation. It's not enough for us to be a receiver of information, we must also be willing to "put forward our observations and interpretations for testing by the community and to return the favor to others" (Palmer, 2017, p. 107). --- ## Sources Conners, D.
